Colonel Rex Applegate (1914 -1998), member of the American special unit "Office for Strategic Service" (O.S.S.) during WWII, author of several technical books and a well-known designer of knives, made his revised design of the legendary Applegate-Fairbairn available to Boker. This version is a must for serious knife collectors and has an impressive six inch blade. Individually serial numbered, it has a finely polished Grenadil wood handle and is supplied with a dark green suede and black leather sheath. The Applegate-Fairbairn Dagger, which has been proven countless times in heavy duty, comes now in an exclusive version, especially for the collector. A nicely rounded handle, made of selected Grendill wood feels perfect in your hands, while the serious knife enthusiast looks at the specially satin ground surface of the blade.
